Teri’s not to keen to be desperateTeri Hatcher has given hints that she might be leaving Desperate Housewives at the end of the next American season. She was being interviewed for a radio station in the US, and admitted she was interested in trying her hand at movies. “I just think everything comes to a natural close at some stage, doesn’t it?” Teri told the show’s presenter. “And the world of film does sound appealing again.” Have you forgotten what happened when you finished working on Lois and Clarke, Teri?!
Jennifer’s baby shower ??
Jennifer Garner?s home town threw a baby shower over the weekend for the Alias star and her husband Ben Affleck, but all the gifts have been given to a children’s charity called Starting Points. Although the pair didn?t attend, hundreds of fans came bearing gifts such as a car seat, nappies and baby food. The ?Jen and Ben Baby Shower Night? coincided with the West Virginia Power minor league baseball game in Charlton and all those who donated a gift or were named Jennifer received free entry to the game. 33-year-old Jen and her 32-year-old husband celebrated their wedding last month at the Parrot Cay resort in the Caribbean islands. Both are currently filming new films; Jen is in Vancouver working on Catch and Release and Ben is starring as television?s Superman George Reeves in the new film Truth, Justice, and the American Way.?

Nicolas Cage has agreed to star in a film about the September 11 attacks. He will play Sgt John McLoughlin, who was trapped following the collapse of the twin towers, and the film will be directed by Oliver Stone… Ewan McGregor and Hugh Jackman have both been signed to appear in the film version of the Andrew Lloyd Webber musical Sunset Boulevard. Glenn Close will play Norma Desmond, a role she won several awards for in her portrayal on Broadway. The film will be released next Christmas.
